Welcome to MeatBox. By accessing our services, placing an order, or interacting with us via our website or WhatsApp, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

2. Scope of Services

MeatBox provides fresh and processed meat products for retail and bulk purchase via:

  • WhatsApp ordering
  • Online store
  • In-store purchases

3. Orders & Acceptance

  • All orders are subject to availability and confirmation
  • MeatBox reserves the right to accept or decline any order
  • Orders are only confirmed once payment is received or officially acknowledged by MeatBox

4. Pricing & Payments

  • All prices are listed in local currency unless stated otherwise
  • Prices may change without prior notice
  • We accept approved payment methods including:
    • Mobile money
    • Bank transfer
    • Cash (where applicable)

Orders will not be processed until payment is confirmed (unless otherwise agreed).


5. Delivery & Collection

  • Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees
  • Customers must ensure they are available to receive orders
  • Risk transfers to the customer upon delivery or collection

Failure to receive an order may result in forfeiture without refund due to perishability.


6. Product Handling Responsibility

Once products are delivered or collected:

  • Customers must immediately refrigerate or freeze products
  • MeatBox is not liable for spoilage due to improper storage

7. Returns & Refunds

All returns and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.

Due to the perishable nature of our products:

  • Returns are limited
  • Claims must be made within specified timeframes

8. Order Cancellations

  • Orders may only be cancelled before dispatch
  • Once dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded

9. Food Safety & Liability

  • MeatBox complies with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Customers are responsible for proper cooking and handling
  • MeatBox is not liable for:
    • Improper preparation
    • Allergic reactions (unless caused by incorrect labeling)

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • MeatBox shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Liability is limited to the value of the purchased product

11. Privacy

Customer information is collected and used solely for:

  • Order processing
  • Customer communication
  • Marketing (only where consent is given)

We do not sell or share customer data with third parties without consent.


12. Intellectual Property

All content on our platforms (branding, images, product descriptions) remains the property of MeatBox and may not be used without permission.


13. Changes to Terms

MeatBox reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe.
